Snuffle Mats

Our Westies adore using their noses to search for food and treats in their snuffle mats! These trending puppy puzzles known as “snuffle mats” provide an excellent opportunity for your Westie to use their instinctive senses to locate food and treats while slowing down speedy eaters.

When looking for a snuffle mat we recommend ones that are machine washable. In our search for mats we found that many contain a plastic backing to prevent slipping on the floor, however these can be difficult to clean and we like to wash our mats between use to ensure they do not develop bacteria.

These puzzles are excellent for Westie puppies active minds as well! A word of caution however, not all mats are made of quality materials and as such we recommend supervising the use of these mats.
